My son’s Trick-or-Treat getup. At least, I hope that’s all it is.

Fantasy Foootball, Week 7
It’s always a nice surprise when you’re team upsets the favorite. Particularly when the favorites are the World Champs. My beloved Cleveland Browns turned the trick on the N’Owlens Saints Sunday, with our third string quarterback behind center and our receiving corps depleted. It was all defense and Peyton Hillis. So we’re 2-5 going into our bye week. Not playoff bound, but in better shape than Dallas.
Speaking of Dallas (and getting back to fantasy), I’ve lost Tony Romo from a couple of my fantasy teams. Time to hit the waiver wire. Worse (fantasy-wise): Reports Saturday night indicated that Titans receiver Kenny Britt would not be starting due to personal issues. Of course, I sat him in both leagues. Of course, he didn’t start, but did play, and scored three touchdowns. Damn.

Fantasy Football, Week 6
The less said about my Browns this week, the better. Not that there weren’t some positives coming out of their loss to Titsburgh; Colt McCoy showed he could develop into the real thing, for example, and, um…well, that might be it. That has to be measured against the negatives, specifically two injuries inflicted by James Harrison (one of which is being looked at by the league) to a pair of starting receivers. And I think Roethlisberger was disappointed we didn’t have any cheerleaders for him to hang out with.
Anyway, back to fantasy.

Fantasy Football, Week 5
*Sigh*. Both of my quarterbacks are out, so we travel to Pittsburgh next week to welcome Big Ben back by starting our 3rd stringer. I know that popular wisdom says that “On any given Sunday…” etc., but I’m already considering my Browns a 1-5 team. If they somehow pull out a win…oh, hell I’m not even going to bother finishing that thought.

Fantasy Football, Week 4
A Good News/Bad News week for your Humble Narrator.
The Good: My Browns finally showed they have some stuff, as they take the Battle of Ohio in a nail-biter that ended 23-20. A good game by T.O. was negated by some tough (some have said “too rough”) defensive plays and good production by running back Peyton Hillis.
The Bad : As a comment on the mindset of fantasy footballers, I was more concerned about my various fantasy teams when Michael Vick got hurt than I was about Michael Vick. After all, he was the QB on 6 of my 9 head-to-heads, as you can tell from the final scores.
